    I’m amazed your releases for Guin Saga weren’t ‘timely’ enough. Guin seems to be the fastest to be released among all the current projects >_> Thanks for more Guin anyway ^^

    About time faggots. Releasing an OVA of a series you haven’t even subbed while you’re behind on this…

    Thanks! ^_^

    author of guin saga dies from pancreatic cancer…

    is the anime/manga going to be dropped?

  5. luke Says:

    thanks for the release guys!
    @suiton: are you serious about the author? when did he/she pass away?

  6. LGDArm Says:

    @suiton

    Her novels are the longest continuing single-writer’s work in the world, with 124 volumes. There’s a lot of source material. So chances are no, the anime & manga won’t stop from her death.

    @luke

    On Tuesday.

    Rather ironic that this episode was released today.  Adding to the irony: Scott Green gave the book series yet another glowing recommendation a few days back, and my friend was just given the first two books as a birthday gift on Monday.  Sad.

    On the other hand, you guys are doing a great job and you’re making this Guin fan quite happy.  Expect a review when all of this is done. ^_^

    Her death just means that in 50 yrs, these subs will be legal.

    On a more serious note, is cancer research really worth all the money we pour into it?  We haven’t really seen results in how many years?  Granted, it’s still better than the 1.2 trillion USD debt the American Government has accrued from basically the “War on Terrorism”.  It’s probably also better than the billions of dollars poured into GM.  Why is there no referendum regarding whether or not the government should save GM?  I would be surprised if such a referendum received 50% + 1 approval from the public.  Sadly, I live in Canada where our government now also  has a relatively large stake in GM.  Stupid Steven Harper and his cronies, why bother saving a crappy automanufacturer?  I mean, yes, Southern Ontario and the Golden Horshoe where GM Canada has a lot of its manufacturing plants is vote-rich, but that shouldn’t take priority over the rest of the country.

    O well…
